Professor Relebohile Moletsane and Cheryl Potgieter, UKZN Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Head of the College of Humanities both came to visit with our group on Friday to learn about our project and offer advice for our work based on their experiences.
Several people in our group are interested in photography. On several occasions I've handed over my camera and documenting duty to others. Here's a nice shot that Andile Mtolo (not a BGB student but working on the Kenneth Gardens project) took of our group outside Brettonwood High School.
On Friday night many of us went to a see a all-women jazz performance. I recognized a few of the songs but many were in isiZulu.
